Memorial Services for Frank Erard

Franklin Edward Erard of Farmington passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014, at the age of 76 years. He was born on January 29, 1938, at Overland, MO, son of the late Elmer and Mary M. (Lovelace) Erard. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Mary Erard, a daughter, Cynthia Erard, a son, Thomas Edward Erard and six brothers and sisters.
Frank was a lifelong resident and local business owner in the Farmington area for most of his adult life. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Upon his return from the military, he worked for many years as a local radio sports broadcaster and morning show host. He enjoyed woodworking and made many pieces for family and friends. He will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and a good friend to many.
Survivors include his children, Joe Erard, Terry (Melissa) Erard and Tammy (Joe) Pritchett; seven grandchildren and other extended family.
Friends may call at Cozean Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 27 from 5 – 8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday morning, February 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Farmington with Father Rickey Valleroy as Celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
