New Business:
Problems with the locking mechanism on the bank bags were discussed. In addition to this we discussed ways in whiuch to handle bags in a more secure manner.
Discussed members at large. During this discussion we felt that a memo or a document should be considered for distribution among the congregation which would describe what makes members in danger of being dropped from the membership roster per constitution and bi-laws
Dan Fitzgerald submitted an outline for Shepherding groups
Scott Lix read a letter sent from Pastor Foss which mentioned him being installed as our Intentional Interim Pastor by Pastor Hagan. It also encouraged us to get back basics and to begin reading through the Bible.
Steve Thomas discussed the Stephens Ministry
Tim Crites discussed the potential new school principal and the money situation within the school and church
Voters meeting to be held on 01-24-2016 after the 0900 service
Elders discussed their ministry area’s
Gary Cooper talked about some issues concerning the Alter Guild
01-26-2016 will be bowling night at the Farmington Family Fun Center which will benefit the School Foundation Fund
Steve Thomas talked about the possibility of having a separate Building Fund pledge drive
We discussed the idea of hiring a professional fund raising company which has been done successfully in the pastThe 0900 service to possibly remain at the same time
Scott Lix read a letter or resignation from the Board of Elders sent by Ken Kelly
