Old Business:

  • Minutes read and approved with one amendment --- on the Care process---The Care process is not closed but the mentoring portion of the Care process is completed.
    Jeff Krekeler spoke about the Care process

  • Stewardship program was discussed

  • Talked about specific areas of Ministry for the Elders

  • Elders went over contacts that they have had with people through the last month

  • Discussed the Care process

  • Worship service opportunities after the summer schedule were talked about

New Business:

  • Talked about The Stephen Ministry which will be held on June 30th at 1830 and also July 12th at 1300

  • The summer Stewardship series will be as follows: June 14th Who’s is it, June 21st Your heart is where your money is, July 5th Heaven is my home, July 12th He who dies….still dies, July 19th Giving and materialism, July 26th Living and giving

  • There was a discussion about the Congregation Vice Chair position. Elder Ken Kelly is interested in being considered for the Vice Chair

  • Next Elders meeting will be on July 14th at 1830
