Elders area of interest
New Business:
Pastor opened a discussion in ref to legal issues surrounding LGBT marriage
We discussed the necessity to offer a sabbatical for our future pastors
Discussed the Elders interest areas of outreach
Spoke about the cycle of the Elders membership on the board
Music program to be defined and discussed
The speaker problem is being addressed
A short discussion was held about the need for a school principal
The RIF policy is still on course to be submitted to a church voters meeting
A possible week end Elders retreat was talked about and it being held sometime in the fall locally
