Ignite Jr. Youth Group

This Saturday Night 11/7 6-8 pm we will have a bonfire at the Krekeler house 5313 Colony Church Rd. Farmington. Youth Group leaders will provide hot dogs, chili & s’mores. bring your own drinks and lawn chairs.. Casting Crown tickets will be discussed. All Youth group members can receive a ticket for themselves and a friend. Additional tickets can be purchased for $25. Parents are encouraged to attend and enjoy the evening with us. LWML

Come join us for the next LWML Meeting on Wednesday, Nov 4th in the lower level of Church. We will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Soup & Sandwiches. Our program will begin at 7:00p.m. as we welcome Linda Bauwen from Thrivent Financial discussing “Legacy.”

Country Store

St. Paul Lutheran Country store is October 31 from 8am-2pm  in the School gym.

Baked goods, homemade doughnuts,crafts, canned goods, chili, hot dogs, plants, apple dumplings, Granny’s attic, collectibles, quilts, Christmas items, and something for everyone. Bring your baked goods to the gym on Friday, Oct. 30 from 8am -8pm or bring before 8am on Sat, Oct 31. Bring all other items to the gym Thursday Oct 29 afternoon or Friday, Oct 30 all day. Then plan on attending. You will be glad you did we can’t wait to see you. Anyone who wants to help is more than welcome.

Congregation update

The District does not have an Intentional Interim Pastor (IIP) available at this time. Pastor Henrickson, Circuit Visitor, will attend the Church Council meeting on 10-27-15, to discuss the services we need until an IIP is available. We will discuss services and costs for each. We are covered for Divine Services until the end of November. This is a time of transition.

Upcoming Events!

  • Come celebrate October Birthdays at St. Paul Lutheran Church lower level on Thursday Oct. 22 at 6:00 pm.
  • Coat give away on Saturday Oct. 24th 10:00 am until they last in Church lobby.
  • St. Paul Lutheran High School will host a Fall Trivia Night at St. Paul Elementary Gym October 24. Doors open at 6:30 starts at 7:00 PM. Proceeds from this Trivia Night will help fund the Sports and music dept.
  • Reformation Sunday Oct. 25th our Kindergarten through 3 grade will be singing at the 9:00 am service and the Second graders will be receiving their Bibles.
  • Cheer leading Camp will be held Sunday Oct. 25th at St. Paul gym from 3:30 to 5 pm Student 4th – 8th grade.
  • Trunk or Treat Tuesday October 27th partnering with Bot Scouts troop 483’s annual Harvest Night. Candy donation are needed and can be dropped off in the school office
  • School will dismiss at 11:30 on Thursday, Oct. 29th and NO school on Friday 10/30 parent teacher conference.
  • Country Store set-up from 8am – 8pm  volunteers needed for set- up. 10/29&30
