Pastor King gave the Pastors Report.
Attendance is okay. Busy with Advent, Christmas, funerals, High School dedication and a wedding.Mrs Flenner gave the Principals Report. Enrollment at 325. Cost is still $5500 to educate a student.
Tuition gap less for community than for member students. Cafeteria still not staffed for January.
Brown bag for the first weeks of January.Treasurers Report given by Greg Shinn by text. S43238 in general fund. Need $10000 a week to make bills and $40,000 on January 10. Building Fund has balance of $25000, which is enough for 3 months payments.
Board of Elders Report by Steve Thomas appointed Dan Fitzgerald to replace Derrick Eaves and have Scott Lix as Chairman for 2015.
Board of Christian Studies needs money for pizza after play practice.
Christmas Program set for Sunday December 21 at the 10:30 am service. Recruiting VBS volunteers early.Board of Christian Life Report by Mary Fitzgerald would like to see a return of the New Years Eve Service. Options were discussed.
Board of Trustees Report by Mark Jones. Bid for gym furnace of $12000. Working on pews. 1 ton of ice melt ready for winter.
Board of Christian Education expects Mrs Easley back after Christams break and for Mrs Labryere to be out then.
New Business:
CARE Process continues. Stewardship Program will consist of distributing info at all services for next while about finances of church. Discussed pledge drive.
Governance change update. Marlene Brockmiller in office 4 days a week.
Goverance Change meeting January 17 from 8am to 3pm.Boards need new members. Will look to time and talents surveys and new member classes.
