Old Business:

  • Church Picnic. Many positive comments, acoustics need work. wrap up meeting this week.

  • Constitution and By-laws. Jeff Krekeler discussed Action Team and how they might work with the exciting Boards with the following 4 guidelines.
    1. Within parameters of Lutheran Doctrine.
    2. Within the budget
    3. Be legal
    4. Be moral.

New Business:

  • November 16 voters meeting, Vision team will propose a experiment in 2015.
    Board and Council will continue to operate while Action Team work on specific activities.
    "Policy Boards Governance'' Goal is to increase communication and participation.
    Will interject flexibility to the constitution and by-laws.

Motions:

  • motioned to amend the smoke free policy to include all tobacco & electronic cigarettes. - passed

  • motioned to authorized the Board of Christian studies to investigate background checks for volunteers.- passed
