Finance Report given by Greg Stover. Reviewed the Income Statement.
Foundation Report given by Sally Shinn. Oktoberfest is to be on October 3, 2015. Volunteers are needed 11-4 to serve food.School Board Report given by Sally Shinn. Call Committee has positive momentum. Kim Allen is out as health necessitates and Mr Giesselmann is picking up the slack.
Elders Report given by Scott Lix. Pastor King announced that he will be accepting the call to Immanuel in Gaylord MN. He will using his current vacation and carryover vacation to move and get settled. There will be a brunch in his honor on Oct 4, 2015. Sarah Folk will be teaching Public School Confirmation on Sunday mornings. Tim Crites will be the next chairman of the Elders.
Trustee Report given by Jason Garner. Steeple of church has a new roof. Last part of storm damage has been repaired.
Board of Christian Life Report given by Joann Henderson. Making 750 desserts for Oktoberfest.
Country Store is Oct 31. Helpers needed on Oct 29, 30 and 31. All jobs from hanging curtains to cleaning up. Board is sending cards to couples with 50 year anniversaries. Starting to get donations for needy Thanksgiving baskets.Stephen Ministry update given by Jerry Hoeflein. 6 lessons are complete. Need 3 Stephen Leaders by January 2016.
New Business:
Special Meeting of the Council on Oct 6 at 6:30pm to meet with Pastor Hagan regarding our next steps to get a vacancy pastor.
