April Minutes 2016 Elders

Old Business:

  • Pastor opened with bible study and prayer.
    Minutes was submitted and approved.
    Pastor report giving.
    Elders area of interest

  • Gary Cooper went over the active and inactive members with tentative plans to resolve this issue.

New Business:

  • Scott Lix discussed the building fund/Foundation meeting that was held on 4/11/16. There was a strong agreement that no St. Paul members child will be turned away due to financial situation. A few of the Elders will reach out to surrounding Lutheran Churchs to see if they would be willing to sponsor a child to help with school tuition.

  • Pastor Foss stressed the need for a balance budget.

  • There was a discussion about the need for a third party fund raising organization.

  • Music was discussed

  • There is a problem with a speaker in the back of the church.Jason Garner will look into this and see what the problem is.

  • Pastor talked about the RIF policy
