Old Business:

  • Pastor/Principal Report: 283 students enrolled at St. Paul, Teacher’s Aid; Mrs. Samples resigned and has taken a position at Farmington, replaced Mrs. Samples with Jessica Kauflin and placed Tammy DeGroot in Jessica’s position in office. Also, have filled Little Giants position with Allison Dennis.

  • 10 Staff members going to Conference of Technology November 15,16,17 in TanTara.
    Eighth grade Washington DC trip Fund Raiser of and on campus went well. Fourteen students
    going to Washington so far. Cost is $1000.00 per student.

  • Chapel raising $9.00/box for Operation Christ Child to make 200 boxes.
    Trunk or Treat will be October 27, and Reformation is October 29.

  • Eighth grade is having Chili Supper for donation during the Reformation Walk.
    Seventh and Eighth grade are invited to Saxony for a Motivational Speaker.
    Raised $966.00 for Harvey Hurricane
    Magician is coming November 2nd, $10/Ticket for Reserved seating, $15/Ticket at the door.

    Raised $966.00 for donating to Hurricane Harvey
    Tim Crites asked how the new teacher was doing? Dustin Murray said the only issues were personality differences.

  • Finance: Greg Shinn took out money for Health Insurance, from building fund. Reference Monthly Statement of Income and Expense.

  • It was expressed, that it is more important to call a pastor before putting together a new service. Worship Service Committee Co-chaired by Ceth Jordan and Velma Kocher position meet with Kraig and Pastor Foss to discuss issues.
    Tim Crites said our first priority is running any service.

  • Christian Life: Margie Tedder says We are doing Church Directory ourselves. Marsha Buckley is Chairperson. They are using. Is financial maybe $10.00 take pictures ourselves. Kraig asked can we put on website? Talked about digital directories. Use website for directory. Set up data base. Time and talent. Christian Life board has $5000.00.

  • Elders: None Tim was sick and there was not a meeting.

  • Christian Studies: Youth group had 31 kids at first meeting. Mrs. Sherrill with Tammy DeGroot as helper will do PreK -K Sunday School. Teachers have been asked to meet to discuss how to get children into Sunday School.

  • Christian Outreach: Oktoberfest made $8300.00 and it went really well. Consider getting amusement rides in field. Summer total $10,500 for foundation. Started Coat Drive going thru October 4th. Meeting with pastor regarding reformation’.
    Christian Life: Having Annual memorial November 5th at 9:00 service for members and extended family. Joann is handling Brunch. Sending out invitation, have 20 + names.
    Finance: Need more finance members. Do not have a committee at present

  • Trustees: Piano
    Christian Education: New social media policy in process need better management.
    Going Beyond: Decided 4/15/2018 will be Celebration Sunday. Elizabeth Jorden heading committee with catored lunch.

  • Call Committee: Sunday October 1st is last day for survey. Gene Wiseman coming down to discuss the results.
    Good of the Order Foundation: Hired Jenny Schweiss part time in charge of working October marketing and developing relations, employee of foundation and not church or school. Foundation is a Separate 501C3 organization

New Business:

  • Authorize Marsha Buckley to proceed with Church Directory
